こんにちは！
学生スタッフのRisaです。
先週当校のクリスマスパーティーが行われました！🙌🎉😊

ダンスコンテストやプレゼント交換、ゲームなどで大盛り上がり😆✨
フィリピン式のプレゼント交換のことを"Manito-Manita"といい、Manitoはプレゼントを渡す男性、Manitaは女性のことを表します。
事前にくじで引いた相手の欲しいものを渡したのですが、当日まで誰からもらうかがわからないためみんなドキドキ...
みんなで大きな円をつくり、Manito-Manitaの歌をみんなで歌いながらそれぞれの相手へプレゼントを渡します🎁

あちらこちらから笑い声や歓声が聞こえ、笑顔でいっぱいのパーティーでした☺️
留学では日本とは違う文化を体験することができるのも、英語学習とプラスで得られる魅力の一つですね！

I'm going to talk about "Christmas party" this time!

BCEA teachers and students were very excited for the christmas party for they can witness different activities such as dance presentation, exchanging gifts and games.
The Philippine style in exchanging gifts is called "Manito - Manita", Manito stands for a man and Manita for a woman.

In advance, students and teachers chose their manita and manito by drawing a piece of rolled paper containing the names of each student and teacher. We actually didn't have any clue for the person who will give us present so my heart was pounding during the exchanging gift.

We made a big circle and we sang manito-manita song and give the present.

I could hear laughters, cheers and a lot of smiles! Our christmas party was successful 🙂
